Let Them Eat Cake

There are no words for this one.  I’ll let the pictures tell the story of Lyla’s first encounter with paintable sugar.2011-03-29-Cake-004w

Well done my little Van Gogh.  To see her playing with the texture of the frosting, getting her first life-changing bites of chocolate, painting her belly hot pink – it was just an awesome mom moment.

Can’t wait for the real thing next week!  One year old.  Wow.  It’s starting to sink in.

  3. What a wonderful visual of the fun and wonder that Lyla experienced with her cake encounter! Beautifully done! Carla - a friend of Sue's in WNY who coincidently grew up in the Boston area! :)

  5. I have to add to my comment. I cannot decide which picture is more adorable then the next, but your photographer must have LOVED that whole experience. TJ loves the 3rd picture. He thinks Lyla if Lyla was talking she would be saying "oh yeah, I am going to destroy you". Too Cute!

  6. Thanks everyone! She was a doll to shoot as usual. And Katie, I was the photographer. Going to become official outside of constantly shooting just my own kid very soon!
