Miss Lyla passed all of her tests with flying colors today, so we've gotten the green light for her heart surgery tomorrow at 8am. And mama got her wish by getting permission to see Lyla to dreamland tomorrow before the nurses take her away. She will receive a liquid sedative that I can rock her to sleep to before she gets taken back to go under. All I wanted was for her not to be scared, and I am so thankful I can be the last person she sees before she closes her eyes.
Bedtime was a little tough tonight - extra kisses, extra squeezes, really felt the weight of her in my arms. Tomorrow will be tough, but a gift. Thank you all so much for your support.
We will be thinking and praying for little Miss. Lyla. She is so stinkin' CUTE!!!!!!! I must say, her little outfits are just precious. Your writing continues to captivate me girl. Ms. Lyla will do great and so will you. God Bless!
